Christina B. Littlefield has practiced family law in the San Francisco Bay Area for over twenty five years. A Certified Specialist in Family Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization, she is a founding member of the original Alameda County Collaborative Practice Group, and has served as a board member of a number of family law bench and bar associations, Collaborative Practice organizations, Mills College Alumnae Association. Her practice emphasizes alternative dispute resolution including Collaborative Practice, mediation, consulting, and cooperative and unbundled or “a la carte” litigation. She has served as a Judge pro tem and Special Master in family law matters for the Superior Court and as an Arbitrator for the Alameda County Bar Association. She was the Director of the Southern Alameda County Domestic Violence Law Project. Chris has degrees from Mills College, the University of Maryland, and the University of California, Davis, where she was a Law Review editor and author. Chris is the mother of a teenager and sings with the Pro Bono Players. She has been repeatedly recognized as a “Super Lawyer” by San Francisco Magazine. Chris was co-chair of the annual Collaborative Practice California Celebration Conference for 2008.
